Business Mission to UK and Norway

Date: 11-19 March 2024

In March 2023, Singapore inked a deal with the United Kingdom on the UK-Singapore Green Economy Framework with a focus on three key pillars: green transport; low-carbon energy and technologies; and carbon markets and sustainable finance. The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), the International Maritime Organization (IMO), and the Ministry of Climate and Environment of Norway have also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to join efforts in reducing carbon emitted by ships and their port activities. 

The mission will focus on maritime and port development, fuel cell bus and marine vessel applications, research and development, as well as a focus on safety of various hydrogen technology.
